Alpha Company Aviation is proud to call the Venice Municipal Airport our headquarters because it truly is the ultimate philanthropic and community-outreach airport.
Between our flight schools that give local young people the opportunity to become pilots, our Airframe & Powerplant mechanic apprenticeship program, partnerships with local high schools and technical colleges, the disaster relief and missionary support nonprofit organization, and our emergency response teams, the Venice Municipal Airport is an airport that truly pours into the next generation and serves the community around us.
And at the heart of so much of that is Skyport Aviation.
Did you know that Skyport Aviation created and hosts our annual community event, Airport Day? They also host the Young Eagles events, where children get to experience the joy of flight completely free. And they host the emergency response company that allows people experiencing medical emergencies to be airlifted to hospitals with life-saving capabilities within minutes.
That is what community looks like.
So today, we just want to say:
