Skyport Aviation proudly hosted an unforgettable community event at Tampa Executive Airport (VDF), welcoming over 200 guests for a day filled with excitement, aviation, and community spirit.
The event brought together aviation enthusiasts, families, and local organizations for a one-of-a-kind experience. Guests enjoyed an impressive display of more than 50 show cars, delicious food from Smashed Out Food Truck, and engaging exhibits from Tampa Radio Aircraft Club (TRAC), Commemorative Air Force (CAF), Global Pilot Academy (GPA), Florida Aerospace, and A Kids Place.

Adding to the thrill of the day, visitors had the opportunity to see military vehicles, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit, and the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) up close — making this a truly dynamic and educational event for all ages.
Although the weather conditions prevented some CAF aircraft from taking to the skies, the energy on the ground was nothing short of spectacular. Smiles, conversations, and the shared love of aviation filled the air throughout the day.
“Even with the low ceilings, the enthusiasm never dimmed,” said a Skyport Aviation representative. “We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came out, participated, and supported this event. A special thanks goes to our outstanding Customer Service Representatives and Line Service Technicians — their hard work and dedication made this event possible.”
This marks the first of many exciting new events planned by Skyport Aviation in the months and year ahead, continuing the company’s commitment to connecting the community through aviation.
Skyport Aviation extends a heartfelt thank you to all the guests, partners, and volunteers who made the day a success — and looks forward to welcoming everyone back for future events at Tampa Executive Airport.
